Best Tips on Photographing Bridges

Posted date:  May 1, 2014  |  No comment

Taking pictures of the bridges requires its own settings, both from the environmental settings and also from the lens settings perspective. Early morning and late evening are extremely ideal for taking photos of bridges as it provides the ideal light setting for the pictures to be taken. If the bridges are built across a river, night times would be a perfect setting for the pictures as the underlying river water reflects the lights that are installed along the bridge. When wide angle lens is being used for capturing a bridge, one has to include interesting foreground details to go along with the bridge picture.

If the bridge landscape shots comes with too much sky or land coverage, the user can crop the picture and remove the unwanted portion of the sky or land. When the user wants to isolate the details that come as part of the bridge, a telephoto lens would simply do the job. Old bridges that have withstood the test of times are an excellent candidate for landscape photography as the photos can reveal the type of material used in the construction of the bridge. The bridges that run over roads, rivers and canals can be framed with any type of landscape that comes along with it.
